Spirit Camp - Jr & Sr High (Grades 7-12)
Church camp is one of the most amazing experiences one can have with God! When we gather in sacred space for sacred purpose, we encounter God in ways that are rare in everyday life. Camp gives us new eyes to see the workings of God when we return home. I am excited to see how God will move at Spirit Camp 2025. Spirit Camp has a good mix of veteran leadership and fresh face to our team that bring a new energy to our team. Spirit Camp is filled with fun, games, learning, worship, group building, friendship reunions, and new friendship creations. Spirit Camp is an experience for campers entering 6th grade to campers who have just completed their High School education,
The theme for Spirit Camp 2025 is Lifesong! This theme is based on a song by Casting Crowns that is a prayer to God. The lyrics of the song express a desire for our lives to be an offering to God that is pleasing and reflective of His nature and character. Furthermore, the theme is an opportunity to unpack some of the worship experiences we have in chapel. These are some of the most important and powerful moments of camp. Reflecting on the songs we sing will allow us to dig deeper into the message they proclaim. Our theme verse comes from Colossians 3:16, “let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”
Cost: $300
