We will have a work day on October 29th at Camp Jo-Ota from 8am till 4pm. There is a group coming to clear off a wooded area for tent camping next summer. This would be a good time others that want to come and do other jobs. A few projects include: building/repairing a new wall on the challenge course, repairing/replacing landscaping timbers on the walking trails around the lake, building a second canoe rack by the lake. If groups would like to take these projects on as their mission to JMA it would be very helpful. They can get in contact with Ann Wood (site director) about their intentions and who should take care of purchasing lumber and other supplies. Other jobs that day would include picking up sticks, burning leaves if not too windy, and cleaning cabins and other facilities.
